Branding - Logos & Colour Scheme

Win A Home is a brand new concept, so we didn't have anything previous to work from. A few different design concepts were thrown around, and we decided to go with the design that you see here today. The representation of the logo being in the shape of a key is both relevant and striking, whilst remaining professional. It is able to be manipulated in several different colours, which gives us several options for printing and banners that can be displayed on seller's homes.

The logo and clean, crisp blue colour scheme embodies a modern approach to a market that has not changed for hundreds of years. The design is intentionally simplified, without any complex graphics and menus, so that it is accessible from a variety of platforms and devices, including mobile phones. This ensures maximum exposure to an array of customer demographics.

After experimenting with several variations of a 3D logo, we decided that the logo being in 3D upset the balance of the website and drew the user's eye away from the actual content. For these reasons we decided to pursue the standard 2D logo and we hope you'll agree that it looks great!

We are pleased to report that Win A Home has received a record number of visits in its month of going live...that should have those Estate Agents quaking in their boots!

The Win A Home Website & How It Works

Using advanced and bespoke database and website development, Win A Home is a fully automated solution that requires little or no interaction from sellers. Once their listing is live, they can sit back and wait for their home to sell, and with competitive fees for listing it is a risk-free process that removes the need to use an estate agent.

The Win A Home Process

• Each prize competition is organized and run on an Internet-only basis so, entrants must have a permanent email address, be UK citizens, aged over 18 years, and have a checkable UK address.
• No upfront payment is required - ticket(s) are reserved for entrants. Upon successful reservation, ticket number(s) are forwarded to entrants by email.
• Payment only becomes due when all tickets have been reserved.
• Payment in full must be made within 28 days of notification that prize draw is ready to proceed.
• To comply with the Gambling Act 2005, a multiple answer question must be answered correctly for entry prior to successful entry.
• All prize draws conform with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
• The Consumer Protection Act requires a minimum of 7 days cooling-off period from date of ticket reservation. However, for added consumer piece of mind, Win A Home has opted to offer to extend this cooling-off period to 14 days, meaning that reserved tickets may be cancelled at any time within 14 days.
• Prize draws take place as soon as possible after all monies have been collected and comply with all legal requirements. The winning ticket number is published on the Win A Home website, and the winning entrant will be notified by email/telephone so that the legal transfer process can be started.
