We were contacted by Side Saddle Costumes to see if we could help them promote their gowns and accessories more effectively. Without any real brand identity this was the first area we wanted to address.

The image of the horse is original photographic material, bespoke for the design. Once we had the photographs, firepinapple used stylised rendering to make the image fit in with the Victorian era theme. The outfit worn by the rider is an actual outfit produced by Side Saddle Costumes - how's that for an authentic design?

Once we had the new logo we were able to create a wide range of custom company stationery, that can be used for letters, invoices, deliveries, and even tags on the costumes.

We are pleased to report that Side Saddle Costumes are now into their second year of successful trading, and have become a well established and well respected brand in this niche market. To help promote their products and services further, Firepineapple also delivered a Website Design & Development package.

Website Design & Development

Sticking with the Victorian theme, Firepineapple created this design, which although relatively simple, is designed to be elegant and appealing to the company's target audience.

The two images of the horses at the bottom of the site were original photographic material, bespoke for the design. After taking these photographs, Firepineapple used stylised rendering to make the images fit in with the Victorian era theme. The outfits worn by the riders are the two of the actual outfits produced by Side Saddle Costumes - how's that for an authentic design?

Along with the graphical design, this project also included a GUI Content Management System (CMS) bespoke to the website. It allows the site administrator to add/amend/remove any dynamic content, including the news, links, and the actual products! Included in the package was also extensive Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), which now has the website placed on the first page of results on Google for most relevant search terms.

We are pleased to report that Side Saddle Costumes realised a Return on Investment of over 100% of the cost of the Website Development and Web Hosting within one month of the site going live! The amount of sales sky rocketted, resulting in more demand for the products than had been anticipated and forcing the owner, Jacqui, to take on a number of new employees to cope with the demand.
