In an effort to restore the client's wilting faith in the web design industry, the Firepineapple Team agreed we really wanted to push the boat out for this design. When we say we broke the mould, we mean it! What better way is there to embody the brand and ethos of a client's business than to live and breathe it for a while?
All of the images you can see on this design (excluding product logos) are taken directly from a two hour photoshoot session where we were able to "snap up" the welcoming surroundings, and really get a feel for the salon and how the owner wanted it to be perceived by their customers. The design reflects the brand by being quirky and stylish, whilst remaining professional.
With a website as highly stylised as this, it can sometimes be difficult to keep page load times down. We ensured all images were carefully optimised, and made sure to use clever transparencies and reusable graphics wherever possible. The result is that this graphically stunning website takes less than two seconds to fully load!
Along with Facebook integration, allowing users to "Like" the salon, this also enables the salon to quickly add news and special offers from mobile devices.
